Earlier the exams were scheduled from March 3, while the practical examinations were supposed to begin from January 17, 2022. However, the schedule was altered after instructions were issued by the Education Minister of Rajasthan state, Bulaki Das Kalla.
It is noteworthy that the exams have been postponed again due to the skyrocketing Covid-19 cases across the country and the Rajasthan state. Thus, in order to contain the spread of infections and safeguard the students from the ailment, the Rajasthan state government has postponed the exams. The exam postponement will also grant more time to the students to ensure better preparations for the exam.
In regard to the RBSE Class 10, 12 practical exam postponement, Minister BD Kalla stated, "The practical examinations for Class 12th, which had been lined up from January 17, 2022 in the state have been deferred until further orders. In view of the rising Covid-19 cases across the state, 25 districts have fallen into the Red Zone. Thus, after listening to the advice of the experts, the aforementioned decision has been taken."
Over 20 lakh students have registered themselves to appear for the RBSE Class 10, 12 board exams at 6,074 exam centres of the state. The Rajasthan state government has already issued relevant Covid-19 guidelines that must be followed at the exam centre.
