The post written by him read, "Board Examinations will be conducted from March 3, 2022, while adhering to Covid guidelines and physical distancing norms." Minister Kalla, in his post, informed about the setting up of 6,074 exam centres across the state where more than 20 lakh students will show up for the exams. He also apprised of the deployment of around 830 policemen and 2,874 home guards for security measures and adherence to Covid-appropriate behavior.
Arrangements at exam centres:
In order to prevent cheating and other malpractices, CCTV cameras will be installed at various exam centres, answer sheet Collection centres and distribution centres. Minister Kalla said that examination rooms will house less number of students and arrangements will also be made for masks and sanitizers.
"Candidates caught cheating or copying from others will be subject to strict action. The practical assessments for RBSE Class 12 exam 2022 will begin from January 17, 2022 as per the decided schedule, said Rajasthan Education Minister.
Notably, Rajasthan schools had been closed for all classes till January 30, 2022. On Sunday, January 9, 2022, the Rajasthan government directed to shut down schools in urban areas in view of steeply rising Covid cases in the state. Other places such as movie theatres, restaurants and marketplaces were also hit by curfews.
Schools in Rajasthan have been instructed to switch to online mode of learning for the time being.
