The result has sparked a wave of concerns as several candidates have been simply shown ‘not shortlisted’ in place of scorecards. State constable aspirants are demanding the release of marks, questioning the transparency of the exam.
The Constable recruitment examination took place in two phases: the first from August 23 to 25, 2024, and the second from August 30 to 31, 2024. Each day featured two exam sessions – the morning shift from 10 AM to noon and the afternoon shift from 3 PM to 5 PM.
‘Release UP Police marks’ #Release_UPPolice_marks is trending on social media as candidates took to social media, urging the recruitment board to release their raw scores and normalized scores in the competitive exam. Sharing the screenshot of his result, a candidate said in a post on X, “The result of UP Police Recruitment has been declared today and the result of those who have failed is showing something like this.

Another candidate wrote on X, “Only the list of UP police constable 2024 result has come. It is requested that the RAW marks and normalized marks of all the students should be told so that it can be known how many marks have increased or decreased.” “When the student does not even know his final marks then how can the recruitment be considered transparent? When there is a transparent process then what is the problem in showing the marks? Sir, please try to clear the confusion of the students,” said another candidate.

An aspirant raised questions on the fairness and transparency of the exam. “Sir, what should I understand, why is the recruitment board maintaining silence, there are thousands of students like me who got left out despite having marks, why is this so, if transparency was to be brought then the scorecard was also not given along with the result, what is the meaning of this, here is my number,” the aspirant posted.
