Systematic Study
A regular and systematic study is a must to qualify a CA exam. Mugging up the concepts will not help until you understand the basics. Concentrate more on quality studying rather than the hours of study.
Study Material
It is important to have good quality study material. The study material provided by the institute is the best. You can also seek the help of the reference book to enhance the level of the study and make your learning more extensive, but you must keep in mind that you are not relying on reference books. The reference books must be treated for reference only and you must always prioritize and focus learning from your study material.
Equal Emphasis on all subjects
A lot of practice is needed in all the subjects. Concentrating on your favorite subject and neglecting the weaker subject will take you nowhere. It is needed that you concentrate on all the subjects - Accountancy, Business laws, Ethics and Communication, Cost Accounting and Financial Management, Taxation, Advanced Accounting, Auditing, IT and Strategy Management.
