UGC NET Result 2021: Cut-off marks
To qualify the exam, the general category candidates must score 40% of the total marks in combined paper 1 and 2. Meanwhile, cut off percentage has been fixed as 35% for the SC/ST/OBC/PwD/EWS/Transgender candidates.
About UGC NET Exam 2021:
It is noteworthy that the University Grants Commission (UGC) had merged the National Eligibility Test (NET) exam for the December 2020 and June 2021 cycles. Before this, the last UGC NET exam had been conducted in June 2020. Nearly 12.67 lakh candidates had registered themselves for the UGC NET exam 2021. The exam was held in 239 cities of the country across 837 exam centres. The paper was conducted in the Computer-based (CBT) mode.
It may be known that the UGC NET Exam 2021 has been conducted for 81 test papers for the eligibility for Assistant Professorship and awarding of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

Candidates can follow the simple steps mentioned below to check their respective results.
- Log on to the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the link available on the homepage that reads "UGC NET 2021 Result". You will be redirected to a new login page.
- Enter your credentials such as Application number, date of birth and a security pin. Click on 'Login'.
- Your result will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the scores and obtain their printout for future references.
