UGC NET 2021 Result date: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced the UGC NET 2021 Result date officially. In the official notice, UGC has stated that the results of the National Eligibility Test 2021 (NET 2021) will be out in a day or two. The notice further informed that the UGC is closely working on the evaluation of results and the results will be declared in a day or two.
Candidates who had attempted the UGC NET 2021 exam for December 2020 and June 2021 sessions can view and download the result from the official website of UGC at ugcnet.nta.nic.in after release.
UGC shed light on the details of NET Exam and stated that more than 12 lakh students had registered for the exam. In the released official statement, UGC wrote, "Owing to the Covid-19 pandemic, the UGC NET Exam for December 2020 could not take place. As a consequence, the UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycles had to be conducted simultaneously by the National Testing Agency (NTA) between November 20, 2021 and January 5, 2022".
The UGC NET Exam was held for 81 subjects in 837 centres across 239 cities in the country. The processing and evaluation of the results is underway. Chairman of UGC, Professor M Jagadesh Kumar stated that the UGC is working in consonance with NTA and efforts are being made to declare the results in a day or two. He also wished candidates best of luck for the results.
