The exams were held from August 2 until August 8, 2022 across the state. The papers took place in the offline mode.

This year, the Tamil Nadu board conducted the main board exams for Class 10 students from May 6 until May 30, 2022. The results for the exam were declared on June 20, 2022. According to result statistics, the passing percentage was recorded at 90.1 percent.
