In view of the controversy over the RRB NTPC CBT 1 result 2022, the Minister of Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw, assured aspirants to re-examine the process of shortlisting the candidates for CBT-2 and give fair results. The authorities have overviewed the situation and reached the following conclusions;
- The Board has decided to shortlist 20 times unique candidates with Pay Level wise for 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) for CEN 01/2019 (NTPC).
- All those candidates who have already stood qualified will continue to remain qualified.
- The list of additional candidates getting shortlisted will be notified at each Pay Level.
- RRB wise 2nd Stage CBT for each Pay Level with all candidates of one RRB accommodated in a single shift which should eliminate normalization.
- Wherever single shift is not possible because of capacity constraints or otherwise, percentile based normalization will be done.
- CEN RRC-01/2019 (Level-1) will be a single stage exam. There will be no second stage CBT.
- Candidates should note that the Medical standards as prescribed in Indian Railway Medical Manual (IRMM) will be used for different posts of Level-1.
In addition to this, the Committee has also suggested the following tentative events through the official notification;
- The Railway Recruitment Board, RRB will announce the revised results for CEN 01/2019 (NTPC) of all Pay Levels by the first week of April 2022.
- The Board will conduct the 2nd stage CBT for Pay Level 6 which will be likely to held in May 2022.
- For CEN RRC-01/2019 (Level-1), the board will conduct the CBT for Level-1 as early as possible. Board has tentatively planned to conduct it from July 2022 onwards.
