Notably, earlier on Wednesday, February 2 itself, the MCC had released the seat allotment result but withdrew it later. The primary reason behind the withdrawal was the matrix error in the number of BDS (Dental) seats of BHU and IMS. Post this, the candidates were advised to wait for the release of the final list of seat allotment for NEET UG Counselling 2021 Round 1.
An official notice from MCC read, "Owing to some matrix error in the number of BDS (Dental) seats of BHU and IMS, the final result of UG Round 1 counseling, which was uploaded at 3 pm on February 2, 2022 is being pulled down. The revised final result will be uploaded today on the official website of MCC, DGHS".
"Candidates are hereby advised to wait for the revised final result of Round 1 of UG 2021 Counselling today before proceeding for reporting. The reporting process under NEET UG Counselling 2021 Round 1 will begin from February 3, 2022", the notice further stated.
