JoSAA Seat Allotment Result: Seventh Round Result Has Been Declared

The seventh allotment list of Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has been declared.

The result is available on the official website of JoSAA that is jossa.ni.in.

Simple steps to check first round seat allotment result as follows: 

Step 1: Visit josaa.nic.in. 
Step 2: Go to 'Round 2: View Allotment Result and Pay Seat Acceptance Fee' option. 
Step 3: Enter the required information. 
Step 4: Click on Login option.  
Step 5: JoSAA first round allotment results will pop up on the computer screen. 

Highlights 
JoSAA has been set up by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD). 

The role of JoSAA is to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 100 institutes for the academic year 2018-19. 

IIT Kanpur -- the official organiser of the JEE Advanced exam, the qualifying test -- released an extended merit list on June 15. 

The result of the first round of seat allotment was declared last week on 27th June 2018.

The result of the second round of seat allotment was released today.

Document verification is going to be held today.

The documents will be verified with acceptance of seats will be held till July 23, 2018, for NITs from 10.00am to 5.00 pm.

The extended merit list for JEE advanced exam has been released by IIT Kanpur by the instructions from HRD Ministry.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2018 has been set up by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 100 institutes for the academic year 2018-19.

This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 23 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). Admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes will be made through a single platform.

All candidates who have appeared in JEE (Main) 2018 are eligible to register for seat allocation in NIT+ system (except IITs).

All candidates who have declared qualified in JEE (Adv) 2018 are eligible to register for seat allocation in all participating Institutes.

Candidates who do NOT register within the specified time window WILL NOT be able to seek admission for this academic year.
