About HTET Examination
- HTET Examination is conducted twice every year as a qualifier for candidates interested in taking up teaching jobs in the state.
- The minimum qualifying criteria is 60%.
- HTET score is valid for a period of 5 years.
- Candidates may, however, appear for the examination again to improve their score.
- It will induce the teaching standards and quality education in government schools.
- Candidates, who had appeared in the HTET exam, can improve their score in the next attempts.
- There is no restriction on the number of attempts. Therefore, a candidate can appear in the HTET exam as many times as he/she wish to improve his/her score.
- The HTET qualification certificate will remain valid for the next 5 years from the date of issue.
