Amid COVID-19 Pandemic: NEET PG, MDS 2020 Round One Counselling Result Postponed

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has declined all the counselling events of the NEET PG 2020 due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in the country. The committee has issued an official notice stating the postponement for MD, MS, Diploma and MDS counselling process. Candidates can check the official notice by visiting the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.

As per the official notification, In reference to our earlier notices wherein it was communicated that the PG Counselling 2020 has been brought to a halt wake of unforeseen circumstances and Lockdown imposed by the Government of India, it Seat Processing and Result Declaration for Round Counselling 2020 will remain suspended till further orders." The candidates who have applied for the counselling session can visit the official website and check the details

The first round of counselling seat allotment will be done on March 25 and 26, 2020, as per the official schedule. The result was scheduled to be announced on March 27, 2020, which has now been postponed till further orders.

The examination for NEET PG 2020 was conducted on January 5, 2020, and the result was announced on February 6, 2020. The general category cut off score this year was 366. 

NEET PG 2020 exam is conducted for admission to MD/MS courses in various medical colleges across India. The exam was conducted for a total of 19953 MD seats, 10821 MS seats, 1979 Diploma seats and 1338 DNB seats in all medical colleges of India.
