CBSE Term 1 Result 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), after a long wait, released the CBSE Class 10th Term 1 exam results on March 12, 2022 in the offline mode. This implies that the results will not be available for viewing and downloading to the students on the official website. Instead, they will have to get in touch with their schools to know their scores. In the meanwhile, the Board has also issued a circular to address the concerns arising after result declaration.

CBSE Term 1 Results: When will the scorecards be released?

In the officially released circular, the Board has stated that the mark sheets will be issued to the students after the evaluation of Term 2 answer sheets. It further informed that the marks obtained by students in the theory exams of Term 1 have been sent to the schools and the results will not be available online.

The board's official notice read, "The board has shared the marks of the Term 1 theory examinations of Class 10 students to the schools affiliated to the board. Due to the same, the scorecards for the students have not been released on the official website of the board.

CBSE Term 1 Results: Other important points mentioned in the circular
  1. Calculation of overall result will be done after evaluating the Term 2 examination results. The weightage for Term 1 and Term 2 exams will be decided during the declaration of Term 2 results.
  2. Mark sheets for the exam will be released once the Term 2 results are announced.
  3. Examination centers will not be changed for the students.
  4. Both theory and practical marks for the Term 2 examinations will be awarded to the correspondence school and private students on a proportionate basis.
  5. Students who were unable to appear in the Term 1 exams owing to Covid-19 or their participation in National/International Sports Olympiad have not been evaluated for the Term 1 exam. Their overall result will depend on their performance in Term 2 exams.
