The application process for the Sailor posts for Matric Recruit is to conclude today i.e. November 28, 2019, by the Indian Navy.

Educational Qualification & Age Limit
Candidate must have passed Matriculation Examination from the Boards of School Education recognized by MHRD, Govt. of India. Those candidates who are born between October 1, 2000, to September 30, 2003, are eligible to apply.
Indian Navy Sailor posts: Pay Scale
During the initial training period, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month will be admissible. On successful completion of initial training, they will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (₹ 21,700- ₹69,100). In addition, they will be paid MSP @ ₹ 5200/- per month plus DA (as applicable).
Indian Navy Sailor posts: Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of computer-based examination along with Physical Fitness Test, PFT, and fitness in Medical Examinations. The preliminary medical examination for recruitment will be considered only “provisionally fit subject to fitness in the Final Medical Examination.”
