IBPS PO, SO Registration 2024: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IPBS) has extended the registration deadline for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) and Specialist Officer (SO) vacancies. The candidates who have not applied yet can visit the official website i.e. ibps.in. to submit their applications. Now the registration will remain open till 28 August 2024.
Earlier the last date to submit applications was 21 August 2024. This recruitment drive will fill out a total of 4,455 vacancies and 896 vacancies for IBPS SO in the department. The prelims exam for the same will be conducted on 19 and 20 October 2024. However, the main exam will be conducted on 30 November 2024.
The selection of the candidates for these posts will be done on the basis of a preliminary exam, and a personal interview. The preliminary exam is qualifying and its scores are not included in the final merit list. The final merit list is determined based on the marks achieved in the main exam and the personal interview.
IBPS PO, SO Registration 2024: Application fees
Interested candidates will have to pay application fees according to the category they belong to i.e. from SC, ST, PwBD, ESM, and DESM categories must pay an application fee of Rs 175 to register for the exam, while all other candidates are required to pay Rs 850. The deadline for payment is 21 August 2024.

The candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India. This qualification must be valid by August 21, 2024, the final date for registration. Candidates are required to provide their mark sheets or degree certificates during the online registration process.
