RMS Admission 2025-26: Rashtriya Military School (RMS) has begun the Class 6 and 9 application process for the academic year 2025-26. The students who want to appear for the same can visit the official website i.e. rashtriyamilitaryschools.edu.in. to register for RMS Class 6, 9 admission 2025. The application window for the same will remain open till 19 September 2024.
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the total score on the admission test and the interview will be admitted to the Rashtriya Military Schools, depending on the availability of seats, medical fitness, and the reservation policies established for different categories. The dates of the examination will be announced soon.
For admission to Class 6, the age of the candidates (both boys and girls) must lie between 10 and 12 years however, for admission to Class 9, candidates must lie between 13 and 15 years. Admissions for both classes depend on the availability of seats. It is important to note that all admitted students are required to board at the school.

RMS Admission 2025-26: Reservation policy
- 70% of the seats are allocated for the children of serving and retired Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and Other Ranks (OR) from the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
- 30% of the seats are reserved for the children of serving or retired Officers from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, as well as for civilians.
- 27%, 15%, and 7.5% of the seats in each category are reserved for candidates from the OBC (Non-creamy layer), SC, and ST categories, respectively. A total of 50 seats (with no more than 15 in any single school) are specifically set aside for the children of personnel who were killed in action.
- 10% of the seats or up to 30 vacancies (combined across all five schools) are reserved for female candidates in Classes 6 and 9.
