IAF Airmen STAR Exam 2020 Postponed Due to COVID-19 Lockdown

STAR Exam of Indian Air Force Airmen has been postponed further. Indian Air Force Airmen STAR exam 01/2020 was earlier scheduled to be held in the last week of April. But due to on-going Coronavirus Lockdown, all colleges, schools, and other educational institutes have rescheduled their exam and event which were scheduled for this time.

 
The official website states “In view of the outbreak of COVID-19, various government advisories and lockdown in the country, STAR 01/2020 online exam scheduled from 19 - 23 Mar 20 was postponed. Fresh dates will be intimated in the second week of May 2020. For latest updates is at airmenselection.cdac.in”

 
This Selection Test is to become an Airman of IAF and is not for selection as Commissioned Officers/Pilots/Navigators. The examination is valid for one intake i.e. intake 01/2021 only.
 
This Selection Test is only for eligible MALE (Indian/ Nepalese) candidates. Females are not eligible.

The applicant can be a civilian or a serving NCs(E) of the Indian Air Force. If you are a civilian, then you must be an unmarried male candidate. If you are a serving NCs(E) of IAF you can be married or unmarried male, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria of the respective date of the birth block.

According to the notice, the IAF exam was scheduled to be held in the last week of April. But due to the on-going health crisis in our country due to the outbreak of Coronavirus, it had to be stopped. In addition, all educational institutions have been closed due to coronavirus outbreaks.
