The Karnataka KCET 2020 exam dates stand postponed as no further updates issued by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Due to the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus pandemic, the central government has announced the nationwide lockdown upto May 03. For the wellbeing of candidates and to curb the community transmission of the novel coronavirus it has been expected that the exam will remain postponed till the situation turns conducive.

 Those candidates who have applied for the Karnataka KCET 2020 examination should visit the official website regularly for latest updates. The Karnataka KCET 2020 official website is cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.  

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) had conducted the Karnataka KCET 2020 application process from February 05 and concluded on March 16, 2020. The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) was earlier scheduled to be held from April 22 to 24, 2020, at various centres in the state. But due to the pandemic outbreak, the authorities decided to postpone the exam till further updates.

About Karnataka KCET 2020 Exam:

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will conduct the entrance examination in two shifts. The first shift will begin from morning 10.30 am to 11.50 am and the second shift will begin at noon from 2.30 pm to 3.50 pm. The examination will be held for Biology, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Kannada Language. Candidates who want to pursue medical and dental courses will have to appear for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test, NEET 2020. Also, candidates who want to pursue architecture will be required to appear for Joint Entrance Examination, JEE paper 2 or the National Aptitude Test in Architecture conducted by the Council of Architecture.
