Approximately 7.8 lakh students have registered to appear for the West Bengal Higher Secondary Exams 2022. The exams will advance in the offline mode while ensuring adherence to Covid-appropriate behaviour. It is noteworthy that for the current year, the students will be writing exams at their own schools, instead of going to other allotted exam centres, to keep the spread of Coronavirus in check.
President of WBCHSE, Chiranjib Bhattacharya stated, "This year, the Class 12 examinees will write their respective state board exams at home centres (own schools) as several Covid-19 norms need to be adhered to. Seating arrangements need to be marked for students and for that, more school buildings are required.
