The notification for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UP TET 2019) is expected to be released soon by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB).
TET or Teacher Eligibility Test is an entrance examination for Indian teachers. It was specially introduced by the Government of India to improve the standards of teaching.
The application process is expected to begin on September 2019.
Candidates can register online via Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board's (UPBEB) official website once the application forms are available.
The exam is scheduled to be conducted in November 2019. According to the media reports, the exam will be conducted on November 9, 2019, however, there is no official confirmation for the date.
Examination Pattern
The examination comprises of two papers.
Paper I: This paper would be for candidates who wish to be a teacher for classes I to V.
UP TET Paper, I Exam will be conducted for 150 marks.
It will be an objective type exam which will consist of 150 questions to answer.
Duration of Paper 1 will be 2 1/2 hrs.
Paper-II: This paper would be for the candidates who wish to be a teacher for class VI to VIII.
The UP TET Paper II Exam will be conducted for 150 marks.
It will be an objective type exam which will consist of 150 questions to answer.
Duration of Paper 1 will be 2 1/2 hrs.
