The application process for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET- Dec 2019) will be concluded on September 25, 2019, by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
The applications were invited by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi for the appointment of candidates as a teacher in classes I to VIII through CTET.
Earlier the application process was to conclude on September 25, 2019.

Name of the Exam: Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2019
Eligibility criteria:
Teacher (for Classes I-V) (Primary Stage):
- Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
- Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
- Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEI.Ed) OR
- Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (BEd)”
Teacher (for Classes VI-VIII) (Elementary Stage):
- Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard OR
- Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) OR
- Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year BA/ BScEd or BAEd/ BScEd OR
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) OR
- Any candidate having qualified BEd Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/ CTET.
Application fee: Pay examination fee through challan or Debit/ credit card.
For Gen/ OBC (Only Paper I or II): 700/-
For Gen/ OBC (Both Paper I & II): 1200/-
For SC/ST/Differently-abled Person (Only Paper I or II): 350/-
For SC/ST/Differently-abled Person (Both Paper I & II): 600/-

Starting Date for Submission of Online Application: August 19, 2019
Last Date for Submission of Online Application: September 30, 2019
Last Date for Payment of Fee: October 03, 2019
CTET Dec 2019 Exam Date: December 08, 2019
How to apply: Interested and Eligible Candidates may Apply Only Online through CBSC website www.ctet.nic.in from 19.08.2019 to 30.09.2019.
