UPSSSC (VDO) Examination 2018: Exam Dates and Important Points to Know

The examination for the posts of Gram Panchayat officer, Village Development Officer and Social Welfare Supervisor has been scheduled by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC).

The examination are scheduled to be conducted on 22nd and 23rd December 2018.


The commission is likely to issue the Admit Cards of UPSSSC Village Development Officer VDO Exam 2018 soon.

Candidates who have applied for these posts will be able to download the Admit Card from UPSSSC's official website i.e.  www.upsssc.gov.in once they are released.


The UPSSSC Village Development Officer VDO Exam 2018 is to be organized by the Commission in two shifts i.e.  in  the  morning and in the evening.

The computer based test in the morning shift will be conducted from 10 am to 12 noon and evening shift will be held from 3 pm to 5 pm.



The UPSSSC Village Development Officer VDO examination will consist of a total of 150 optional type which  will be of a total of 300 marks.

The candidates will have a time of total 2 hours to solve all the 150 questions.

There will be questions asked from Hindi, General Knowledge and General Reasoning in the examination.

In case of any wrong answer, a total of 0.5 marks will be deducted.

UPSSSC had issued an advertisement in May 2018 for the posts of Gram Panchayat Officer, Village Development Officer and Social Welfare Supervisor.

The application process was open till June 25,  2018.
