UPSC CMS Exam Date 2022 - PC : My Result Plus
UPSC CMS Dates: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the dates for the conduct of UPSC CMS 2022 exam. Candidates who have applied for the Combined Medical Service (CMS) exam 2022 can check the recently released notice by the Commission, which mentions the exam date. About UPSC CMS Recruitment 2022:
 
Through the Combined Medical Service recruitment examination, the UPSC will fill a total of 687 posts. Eligible candidates will be recruited to 314 vacant posts of Medical Officers Grade in General Duty Medical Officers Sub-cadre of Central Health Service, 300 posts of Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways, 3 posts of GDMO in New Delhi Municipal Council and 70 posts of GDMO Grade-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation.

Candidates who are declared qualified in the written examination will be called for the interview round, after which they will be assigned the aforesaid posts. 

UPSC CMS Exam Date 2022:

The UPSC CMS 2022 exam will be conducted by the Commission on July 17. Candidates will have to appear for two papers. Paper I will commence at 9:30 am and end at 11:30 am. The second paper will begin at 2 pm and conclude at 4 pm. The exam will be held as a Computer-based test (CBT).

Various exam centers will be set up across the country to ensure successful conduct of the exam.

UPSC CMS 2022: Exam Pattern

The UPSC Combined Medical Service 2022 exam will comprise two papers. Paper I is titled 'General Medicine and Pediatrics', which will consist of 120 questions and will offer a maximum score of 250 marks. This paper will last for 2 hours.

Paper II, named Surgery, Gynaecology and Obstetrics and Preventive and Social Medicine will contain 120 questions, carrying a total of 250 marks. 2 hours will be provided for this paper too. Negative marking will also be applicable in both the papers.
