The UPSC conducts the Combined Defence Services Examination or CDS to officers in Army/ Navy/ Airforce, students who qualify the written examination will be further called for the interview.

CDS 2018 Age limit: For INA, IMA, AFA courses the age of candidates should be between 20 and 24 years and for Officers’ Training Academy the age limit is 25 years.

UPSC is going to invite applications from interested and eligible candidates for CDS II exam on August 8.
After the completion of the Pre-written examination, UPSC CDS II Result 2018 will be released in December.
The CDS (II) 2018 Exam will be held on November 18, 2018.
The students who will qualify the written examination will be called for the Stage II or SSB round.
About CDS Examination
The CDS exam is conducted twice in a year.
The CDS Application Form will be available in two parts i.e. part I and part 2.
Candidates can apply online only by visiting the official website of conducting authority i.e. upsconline.nic.in.
The CDS 2018 exam will be held in 41 cities/towns in the country.
