The official announcement on most awaited decision for UP Board Class 10th Exams 2021 has been finally made. The Deputy Chief Minister and State Education Minister, Dinesh Sharma has announced to cancel the class 10th board examinations this year due to the ongoing pandemic circumstances. The decision has been made in a high level meeting under the chairmanship of CM Yogi Adityanath.
The state government has announced to promote all the students of class 10 to the next grade on promotion criteria basis. As many as 29,94,312 students have been registered for UP Board Class 10th exams this year. Moreover, the annual examinations for classes 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th & 11th have also been cancelled. The students of these class will be promoted to next garde without any written exams.
However, the Education Minister announced that the Board examinations for class 12th will be held in the month of July 2021 after the situation will turn conducive. Also, the Class 12 examination pattern is likely to change. The announcement for the same will be made by the board authorities in due course of time.
The Uttar Pradesh government has already announced the cancellation of undergraduate and postgraduate college exams. Over 30 lakh UG/ PG level students will be promoted this year. The state government has announced to promote first and second-year undergraduate while first-year postgraduate students without examinations.
About UP Board 10th Exam 2021 Promotion Criteria
In order to promote the students to the next class, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has instructed schools to upload ninth grade marks of all students on the portal by May 24. According to the information received, promotions will be given to the students on the basis of the final result of board ninth grade. The UP Board Class 10th Result 2021 declaration date will be notified soon by the board authorities
