NEET UG 2023 Exam Tomorrow: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has set up about 4100 examination centres in 499 cities for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2023, to be held on May 7 for medical admission.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has set up around 4,100 examination centers in 499 cities for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2023, to be held on May 7 for medical admission. Approximately 20.86 lakh candidates will appear for the examination scheduled from 2 pm to 5:20 pm on Sunday. Maharashtra has 582 examination centers, Uttar Pradesh has 451, and Rajasthan has 354 examination centers in 24 cities.
 

NEET UG Exam 2023: 2.76 Lakh Students Will Appear in Hindi

NTA Director-General Vineet Joshi stated that preparations have been completed for the country's biggest national admission entrance exam to be held on Sunday. Examination centers have been set up in 499 cities across the country and 14 cities abroad. Approximately 16,72,912 students have chosen English as the medium of examination, while Hindi has been chosen by 2,76,175 candidates.
 

NEET UG Exam 2023: Tight Security Arrangements

As per the instructions of the Director-General of NTA, Vineet Joshi, mobile jammers, biometric machines, frisking, and metal detectors have been arranged for the security of the paper at all examination centers. Policemen and private security agency personnel will also be deployed for security at each examination center. Retired army officers have been appointed as observers and deputy observers by the NTA at each examination center. All centers are fitted with CCTV cameras, which can be directly viewed from NTA's Delhi headquarters.
 

NEET UG Exam 2023: Things to Remember

Here are the important things to keep in mind at the NEET UG Exam 2023 examination center:

  1. Candidates will be given admission between 11:00 am to 1:30 pm as per the time given on the admit card.
  2. The main entrance gates of all centers will be closed at 1:30 pm.
  3. The paper will be held from 2 pm to 5:30 pm.
  4. The candidate needs to show the admit card, transparent water bottle, and ID issued by the government to get admission.
  5. The pen will be provided to the candidate at the center.
  6. The candidate will be allowed to go out only with the test booklet.
