NEET 2019: From November 1, 2018, the online applications will begin for the National Eligibility Test (NEET).

The official notification and detailed information will be available at nta.ac.in.

The exam is for the admission to medical institutions across the country.

The exam will be held on May 5, 2019, and it is a pen-paper based test.

The admit card will be available from April 15, 2019.

The result will be available in June first week.

Step 7: Download and take a print out

The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG will be conducted by the NTA from 2019 onwards. This Test was being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) till 2018.

NEET (UG) is applicable for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.

The responsibility of the NTA will be limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and providing All India Rank to the Directorate General Health Services, Government of India for the conduct of counseling for 15% All India Quota Seats and for supplying the result to state/other Counselling Authorities.

NEET 2019 Admit Cards To be available from April 15, 2019
NEET 2019 Exam: May 5, 2019
NEET 2019 Result: June 5, 2019
 
Citizens of India, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs and foreign nationals are eligible to take NEET 2019.

The candidates must have cleared 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Biology/ Biotechnology and English as core subjects in both classes 11 and 12 from a recognized board. 17 years till December 31, 2019, candidates must be born on or before January 1, 2003.

No limit on the permitted number of attempts.
