Karnataka CET 2021 Postponed: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has postponed the KCET 2021 examination scheduled on July 07 & 08, 2021. The decision has been taken in view of the postponement of 2nd PUC exam due to rise in COVID cases in the state. The announcement has been made by Deputy Chief Minister CN Ashwath Narayan, also minister for higher education through his official Twitter account.
As per the official announcement, the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) will now be held on August 28 & 29, 2021. While the Kannada language test will be conducted on August 30, 2021. The detailed notification is also available on the official website of the KEA at kea.kar.nic.in. The authorities have also announced to reopen the application window shortly.
KEA conduct the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to all undergraduate professional courses, except medical, dental and Ayush courses. As per the announcement made by the Deputy CM, the KCET 2021 exam for Biology and Mathematics will now be held on August 28 and for Physics and Chemistry, the entrance examination will be held on August 29, 2021. While the Kannada language test for Horanadu (other states) and Gadinadu (border regions of the state) Kannadiga candidates will be conducted on August 30, 2021.
