JEE Mains 2022 to fall between CBSE Term 2 12th boards

JEE Mains 2022: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the revised dates for holding the Joint Entrance Exam 2022 (JEE Mains 2022) on March 14, 2022. According to the newly issued exam date sheet for JEE Mains 2022, the exam dates of CBSE Class 12 Term 2 2022 and JEE Mains are not clashing. However, the JEE Mains exam dates 2022 will fall between the CBSE Class 12 term 2 board exams.
Notably, this is for the first time that the most important entrance examination for admission into engineering courses has been lined up during the course of CBSE 12th Board exams. Owing to the dire threats posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the board has divided the examination into two terms- Term 1 and Term 2. While the CBSE Class 12 Term 2 exams have been lined up from April 26, 2022, the JEE Mains exam will fall in the middle of it.
Candidates about to appear in JEE Mains exam 2022 must note that the National Testing Agency has revised the JEE Mains exam dates for April session only. As the official notice of NTA states, the April session dates are now April 21, 24, 25, 29 and May 1 and 4, 2022. Despite the JEE Mains exam falling in between the CBSE Term 2 exams, no clash is taking place between the two.

The CBSE board had declared the Term 2 exam dates on March 11, 2022, Friday. The Class 12 students will begin writing Term 2 examinations from April 26, 2022, while the exams will be wrapped up on June 15, 2022.
