The National Testing Agency has scheduled the first session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 From June 23 to 29, 2022. Continuing for the 4th day on June 26, candidates aspiring to get admission into the BTech courses will write the exam for JEE Main paper 1. The exams will be conducted in two shifts, the first shift will start at 9 am and the second shift will begin at 3 pm.
JEE Mains 2022: Exam Day guidelines
- Students are advised to carry a copy of their JEE Main admit card along with a valid photo ID and passport size photo to get entry inside the exam venue.
- Candidate must arrive 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the Examination
- They should also follow exam day instructions published on the NTA site.
- They need to follow COVID-19 guidelines and other instructions given on admit cards and at exam centres.
- Candidates appearing for the exam have to wear their face masks throughout the exam.
- Candidates wearing specific attire due to religious reasons have to reach the exam centre well in advance for thorough frisking.
JEE Main 2022: Examination Pattern
Joint Entrance Examination, Main is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate engineering courses in 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 29 GFTIS.
There will be a total of 75 Questions (25 questions each)
- Mathematics: 25 (20+10) 10 Numerical Questions out of which 5 are compulsory.
- Physics: 25 (20+10) 10 Numerical Questions out of which 5 are compulsory.
- Chemistry: 25 (20+10) 10 Numerical Questions out of which 5 are compulsory
NTA is conducting the JEE Main 2022 exam in 13 languages. Candidates can appear for the JEE Main exam as filled at the time of examination.
NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2022 exam in two sessions this year. JEE Mains second attempt 2022 will be conducted from July 21 to 30, 2022. Candidates can find JEE Main 2022 session 2 application form at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2022. The JEE Main 2022 application form last date is June 30.
