JEE Mains 2022: Paper Analysis for Day 3 exams - PC : My Result Plus
JEE Mains 2022: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the JEE Mains 2022 exam in full swing across the nation. Notably, the session 1 exams commenced on June 23, 2022 and the third day of the exam concluded today on June 25. The exams are unfolding in two shifts: Shift 1 and Shift 2. The paper analysis for day 3 of the exam, for both the shifts has been provided herewith.

JEE Mains 2022: Subject-wise Analysis for Shift 1 Exam

The shift 1 of the JEE Mains exam began at 9 am today and concluded at 12 pm, as per the schedule decided by the official examination conducting body (NTA). The subject-wise analysis has been described below.

Physics: A major chunk of students who appeared in Shift 1 exams found the Physics section to be the easiest of all. Most of the numericals asked in the paper were formula based and the one who has solved a good number of mock tests could easily ace this section.

Chemistry: Shedding light on the difficulty level of the Chemistry portion, the students rated the section to be evenly distributed among Physical chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. The paper was largely NCERT-based and a thorough read through the NCERT books could help one crack this section easily.
 
Maths: Labelled to be of moderate difficulty level by the candidates, the Mathematics section was known to be time taking due to the questions that involved lengthy calculations. Almost all topics were covered in the question paper, ranging from calculus, coordinate geometry, 3D, Vectors and Algebra.
 
JEE Mains 2022: Subject-wise Analysis for Shift 2 Exam
 
The Shift 2 exams were conducted from 3 pm until 6 pm. The subject-wise analysis for the same has been mentioned below.
 
Physics: Candidates rated the Physics paper of Shift 2 exams to be of moderate difficulty. Topics such as Optical Instruments, Communication systems, Electro-magnetic waves and Kinematics assumed dominance in the paper.
 
Chemistry: According to the students, the Chemistry section was the easiest of the all in the Shift 2 exams for Day 3. However, a large number of questions were asked from the Organic Chemistry section.
 
Mathematics: The candidates found the Mathematics paper for the Shift 2 exams to be a bit on the difficult side. Lengthy and calculative questions were asked in the paper, which encompassed topics like Mathematical reasoning, Matrices and Determinants, statistics, binomial theorem, 3D geometry and vectors.
