JEE Main 2019: Application Form Correction Process Begins

The application form correction process for JEE Main 2019 application form has been activated, the registered candidates can make necessary changes through the official website.

However, exam fees was accepted till October 1 (11.50 pm). Candidates should keep in mind that  Aadhaar number, 12 digit identification number issued by UIDAI, is not mandatory for registering for JEE Main 2018 examination.

How to correct JEE Main 2019 form?

Step 1: Visit jeemain.nic.in.
Step 2: Go to the notification mentioning JEE Main registration process.
Step 3: Read instructions and submit application.  

Why JEE Main is conducted?
The entrance exam is conducted for granting admission to Undergraduate Programs in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions.

What is National Testing Agency or NTA?
NTA is an exam conducting agency set up by the government. It will conduct JEE Main 2019, NEET 2019, CMAT 2019 and UGC NET examination.

Who is eligible for JEE (Main) 2019?
Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th    Examination or    any    equivalent qualifying examination    in 2017,    2018 or    those    who    are appearing   in   their   Class   12th   Examination or   any equivalent  qualifying examination  in 2019 are eligible to   appear in   JEE (Main) Examination   be   held   in January - 2019  as  well  as  in  April - 2019. Candidates who  had passed  Class  XII/qualifying  examination  in 2016  or  before  as  well  as  those  who  will  appear  in such  examination  in  2020  or  later  are  not  eligible  to appear  in  JEE (Main) - 2019.   Candidate  who  appeared in Class XII/ equivalent qualifying examination in 2016, did  not  pass  in  2016,  but  passed  in  2017  are  not
eligible to appear in JEE (Main) - 2019.

Age Limit

For  appearing  in  the  JEE  (Main) - 2019  examination there   is   no   age   limit   for   the   candidates. The candidates who have passed
XII examination in 2017, 2018 or appearing in 2019 irrespective of their age can  appear  in  JEE   (Main) - examination  2019.  The candidates should satisfy themselves about the eligibility of age limit requirements of the Institutes in which he/she is desirous of taking admission.
