JEE Main 2019: Allotment of Shift, Exam Dates Likely to Release Today

The allotment of exam dates and shift for JEE Mains 2019 is expected to release today by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

JEE Mains 2019 is scheduled to conducted from January 6 to 20, 2019.

Multiple Exam Dates

 

There is a significant change considering the exam dates. These exams will be conducted over many days. The students will be given choice to choose a date. If a candidate appears for the exam twice; for JEE (Main) as well as NEET, the scores will be taken to his account according to his better performance in any.

 

Important Dates

 

Here are some important dates the candidates should keep in mind.

September 1, 2018: the online registration process begun on this date.

September 30, 2018: the online registration process ended on September 30, 2018.

December 17, 2018: the admit cards will be released on December 17, 2018.

January 6, 2019: JEE Main I commences from January 6, 2019.

January 6 to January 20, 2019: 8 different sittings of exam will be conducted in which the students have the freedom to choose any one.

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

Educational Criteria: the candidates should at least score 75% and must have completed their class 12 from a recognized board. This is required to be eligible for the JEE mains as well as advanced.

The percentage has been lowered to 65% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribes.

 

The candidates will be eligible for the admission to Bachelor of Technology Bachelor (B. Tech), Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) courses at Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) across India after clearing the JEE Mains and advanced exam.
