The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) is to conclude the application process for Joint Admission Test for Masters - 2022 on October 11. The candidates who wish to appear for the JAM 2022 examination can fill the online application form through - jam.iitr.ac.in. The registrations were commenced on August 25, 2021.
The Joint Admission Test for Masters, JAM 2022 is conducted for admission to M.Sc. (Two-year), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, and other Post-Bachelors Degree Programmes offered by various IITs across the country and Integrated Ph.D. Programmes offered by the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. This year IIT Roorkee is authorised to conduct the JAM 2022 examination on behalf of the IITs across the country.
JAM 2022 Exam Details
- The JAM 2022 examination is scheduled to be held on 13 February 2022. While the admit card for the same will be issued by the authorities on 4 January 2022.
- The examination will be conducted ONLINE only as a Computer Based Test (CBT) for all Test Papers.
- JAM 2022 will have seven Test Papers, namely, Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS) and Physics (PH).
- Candidates should note that all the seven Test Papers will be of entirely objective type, with three different patterns of questions, namely -
(ii) Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and
(iii) Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
