The online registration process for Joint Admission Test for MSc 2019 is to end today, October 10, 2018.

The registration process for IIT JAM 2019 by Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur started on Wednesday, September 1.

Application Timeline

September 05, 2018: ONLINE Registration and Application Process starts from September 05, 2018
October 10, 2018: ONLINE Application Process is to close on October 10, 2018
March 20, 2019: JAM 2019 Result are to be announced by March 20, 2019

The JAM 2019 online examination will be held on February 10, 2019 (Sunday) in two sessions as Computer Based Test (CBT). The schedule for different Test Papers of JAM 2019 is given below.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates appearing for JAM 2019 have to fulfill the following Eligibility Criteria for admissions in IITs.

All candidates admitted through JAM should have a Bachelor’s degree.

The candidates must have at least 55%  marks or 5.5 out of 10 for General/OBC (NCL) category. As for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST and PwD category, they should have at least 50% or 5.0 out of 10 for SC/ST.

For Candidates with letter grades/CGPA (instead of the percentage of marks), the equivalence in percentage of marks will be decided by the Admitting Institute(s).

Proof of having passed the Qualifying Degree with the Minimum Educational Qualifications (MEQ) as specified by the Admitting Institute should be submitted by September 30, 2019.
