JAM 2019: Online Registration Process Ends Tomorrow

The online registration process for Joint Admission Test for MSc 2019 will end tomorrow, October 10, 2018.

Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur started the registration process for IIT JAM 2019 on Wednesday, September 1.

How apply for JAM 2019?
The simple steps to apply for JAM 2018 as follows:
Step 1: Visit jam.itkgp.ac.in.
Step 2: Go to the JAM 2019 registration notification.
Step 3: Read the instructions and apply.

Application Timeline
ONLINE Registration and Application Process:    September 05, 2018
Closure of ONLINE Application Process:    October 10, 2018
Announcement of JAM 2019 Result:    March 20, 2019

The JAM 2019 online examination will be held on February 10, 2019 (Sunday) in two sessions as Computer Based Test (CBT). The schedule for different Test Papers of JAM 2019 is given below.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who qualify in JAM 2019 shall have to fulfill the following Eligibility Requirements (ER) for admissions in IITs.

All candidates admitted through JAM should have a Bachelor’s degree.

In the qualifying degree, the aggregate marks or CGPA/CPI without rounding-off (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) should be at least 55% or 5.5 out of 10 for General/OBC (NCL) category candidates and 50% or 5.0 out of 10 for SC/ST and PwD category candidates.

For Candidates with letter grades/CGPA (instead of percentage of marks), the equivalence in percentage of marks will be decided by the Admitting Institute(s).

Proof of having passed the Qualifying Degree with the Minimum Educational Qualifications (MEQ) as specified by the Admitting Institute should be submitted by September 30, 2019.
