The exam process of the IBPS PO prelims has begun by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) today.


 

The examination procedure has been started for the recruitment of Probationary Officers and Management Trainees in affiliated banks.
 

The prelims recruitment exams for IBPS PO and MT will be held till October 21, 2018.
 

the second stage of the recruitment of IBPS PO and MT examination wil be held in the next month i.e. November 18, 2018. The examination will be followed by the an interview which will be held for the candidates who do well in the main examination.

 

Analysis of the Prelims

 

For the students who appeared for this exam for the first time, the difficulty level of the exam was moderate according to the initial reports of NDTV.

 

In the exams there were a total of 100 questions that the students were to answer in 60 minutes.

All the sections in the question paper leaving English Language were available in both English as well as Hindi where every question carries one make.

There is negative marking for this exam, with every wrong question the candidates loses 0.25 mark.

 

The paper was divided in to different sections which carries different marks.

 

English Language Section: the section consisted a total of 30 Questions. The level of this section was moderate.

It was allotted 20 minutes to attempt this section.

 

Quantitative Aptitude Section: the section consisted of a total of 35 questions. The level of questions were bit moderate and bit difficult.

It was allotted 20 minutes to attempt this section.

 

Reasoning Ability Section: the section consisted of a total of 35 questions.

The level of the questions was easy but bit moderate. It was allotted 20 minutes to attempt this section.
