The revised date for the pending exam of HB Board Class 12 Geography has been released by the Himachal Pradesh Board.
According to the Board, the exam has been scheduled to be conducted on June 8, 2020, across the state.
The Board has released an official notice on the website hpbose.org regarding the same.
The board has set up 303 examination centres for about 4,400 students attending the exam, including SOS students or State Open School students.
The examination would be conducted between 8:45 AM till 12:00 noon on the mentioned centres on Monday, June 8, 2020. The candidates and the staff will have to follow the guidelines issued by the Government and the Board for the same.
The students would have to reach the centres half an hour before the exam so that they could wash their hands using sanitizers and soaps after which they would be allowed to enter the exam halls.
The norms of social distancing would have to be followed during exams with seating arrangement made in lines with the rules.
The examinations for the subjects like Computer Science, Yoga along with Vocational subjects would not be conducted, according to the board's decision taken earlier. The Board will give marks to the students objectively based on the marks obtained in the compulsory subjects.
Earlier, the board has postponed the Class 12 exams scheduled from March 23 to March 26 due to the lockdown enforced to fight COVID-19. The postponed exams include subjects like Geography, Computer Science, Financial Literacy, Yoga and Physical Science.
