As technical snags hampered the conduct of the Phase 2 of CUET UG 2022 exam on its first day on August 4 at various exam centers across the country, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has landed on the decision to reschedule exams for the affected centers. The NTA has apprised of the rescheduling of the exam dates for the cities where the exam failed to take place, through an official notification released on its official website nta.ac.in.
The exam slated to be held on August 4, 2022 has been rescheduled to August 12. More details on the same have been provided below.
CUET UG 2022: Here's Why Exam Is Rescheduled
Several exam centers located in numerous cities witnessed technical glitches during the conduct of the CUET UG 2022 phase 2 exam on August 4. Owing to the same, the question papers were uploaded quite some time after the scheduled time of the commencement of the examination, which resulted in a troublesome situation. Taking cognizance of the issue and seeking reports from the observers and city coordinators present on ground, the NTA has taken the aforementioned step.
CUET UG 2022: Contents of the Official Notification
Releasing an official notification dated August 4, 2022, the NTA stated, 'The CUET UG 2022 exam is being conducted from July 15 until August 20, 2022 across the country. However, various administrative and technical glitches have obstructed the smooth conduct of CUET UG 2022 phase 2 exams, lined up from August 4. Thus, the exams for August 4 have been rescheduled to August 12, 2022 for the following cities. The list of all such cities has been mentioned below.
||Namsai and Pasighat
||Bokaro, Giridih, Jamshedpur, and Ramgarh
||Aurangabad, Raigad, Satara, and Wardha
||Coimbatore, Dindigul, Tiruvarur, Viluppuram, Virudhunagar

Furthermore, the official notification stated that the candidates concerned must get in touch with NTA, in case the rescheduled exam date (August 12-14) is not suitable for them, by writing to the authorities at firstname.lastname@example.org
