The Central Selection Board of Constable, CSBC has announced the exam date for recruitment of candidates to the post of Prohibition Constable. The candidates interested for this recruitment drive can still submit the online application form by 18th January. The examination is now scheduled to be conducted on 27th February 2022. The candidates who haven’t yet registered can now apply online from the official website- csbc.bih.nic.in. 


The board aims to fill vacancies on 365 posts of Prohibition Constable. The written examination will be conducted by considering all the safety protocols of COVID-19. The candidates who qualify in the written test will become eligible to appear for the physical measurement test, PMT. The detailed notification consisting of exam details and admit card release date will be issued on the official website in the due course of time. The candidates must note that the registration window for the recruitment of Prohibition constable is still open. As per the recruitment notice, the candidates who have cleared class 12 examination are eligible to apply online for this recruitment drive. The selected candidates will receive a salary ranging between INR 21700 to 53000.

  2. On the homepage, go to the Prohibition Dept. tab and click on the link named Important Notice: Regarding announcement of Date of Written Examination for the post of Prohibition Constable. (Advt. No. 02/2021)’

  3. The official notification will be displayed on the screen.

  4. Read it carefully and download a copy of the same for future use. 

Exam Details

The written examination will be conducted for a total of 100 marks. The candidates will be given 100 multiple choice questions, MCQs. The questions will come from subjects like General Knowledge, Mathematics, Science, Current Affairs, Social Science, English and Hindi Language.
