The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national level entrance exam for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes offered by 22 National Law Universities around the country.
CLAT also has negative marking. If a candidate answers an incorrect, 0.25 marks will be deducted. 100 questions are asked for a number in the postgraduate (UG) course paper, while two questions will be asked for twenty-five marks. PG programs paper has negative marking for every wrong answer. A wrong answer marks 0.25 of the candidate.
The exam is organized by the Consortium of National Law Universities consisting of representative universities. The CLAT 2020 exam will be conducted on June 21, 2020, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The registrations are open since 1st January 2020 and will remain open until 18th May 2020.
