With the rising number of cases of corona in the state, the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) earlier decided to postpone the class 10th board exams. The annual examination for 10th grade was expected to begin on April 15, but the board has now cancelled them. Class X examinations were scheduled to be held from April 15 to May 1 while the board examinations for class XII were scheduled from May 3 to May 24. The new dates for intermediate board exams will be announced later when the situation will turn conducive.
The State Education Minister, Dr Premsai Singh has further stated that the exact assessment policy and evaluation criteria will be announced in due course of time.
