Special Instructions to Jammu and Kashmir Private Schools in View of Coronavirus Pandemic

Amid lockdown, Jammu and Kashmir School Education Department has given few instructions to the private schools in the state. The education department has extended the last date for depositing fees of private schools in Jammu and Kashmir so that parents do not face any kind of trouble. 

The notice states that “complaints have been reported that parents are being harassed by school authorities and the teachers concerned to mandatorily submit their assignments on the same day”

The Education Department has ordered that private schools in the state will charge the parents till 30 April and no late fee will be charged. 
 

It also mentions “the last date to deposit fees is extended up to 30th April without any late fee and no school shall either charge any fee for the online lectures/ assignment. The management bodies of all CBSE/ BOSE affiliated private schools of UT of Jammu & Kashmir are directed to issue appropriate directions in this regard".

The Department of Education says that schools will not charge any fees from parents for online lectures and assignments. Let us tell you that 21 days lockdown is going on in the country to protect against the coronavirus, which will end on April 14. Schools, colleges and higher educational institutions are closed across the country and many examinations have been postponed.
