The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2023 were released today. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has been ranked the best institution for the fifth consecutive year, followed by IISc Bengaluru and IIT Delhi.
Among the engineering institutions, IIT Madras has maintained the top position for the eighth consecutive year, with IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay securing the second and third rankings, respectively, in the category.
Miranda House and Hindu College of Delhi University have claimed the first and second positions among colleges, followed by Presidency College in Chennai.
IISc Bengaluru has been recognized as the best institution for research, while IIT Kanpur has been ranked as the best for innovation.
In the management college category, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has secured the top position, followed by IIM Bangalore and IIM Kozhikode.
In the field of pharmacy, the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research in Hyderabad has attained the first rank, with Jamia Hamdard and BITS Pilani occupying the second and third positions, respectively.
Similarly, in the discipline of law, the National Law School of India University in Bengaluru has claimed the top spot, followed by the National Law University in Delhi and NALSAR University of Law in Hyderabad in the rankings.
