NEET UG 2022:
The National Testing Agency (NTA), on July 19, 2022 has constituted a fact-finding committee to probe the matter regarding the frisking process before NEET UG 2022 exam that sparked a row, where the friskers had allegedly asked the female candidates to shrug off their bra and other innerwear to appear in the examination in the Kollam district of Kerala.
The Committee has been formed after receiving orders from the Ministry of Education and has been directed to ascertain all the facts about the incident that took place on the said location. The committee has the liberty to inquire about the incident from the stakeholders present at the disputed examination centre.
The incident was unearthed when the father of a 17-year-old examinee of the NEET UG 2022 exam approached the local police on July 17, 2022, alleging that the authorities present at the exam centre had directed her daughter to remove her bra and other innerwear before appearing for the medical undergraduate exam.
