Delhi Education: Lt. Governor talks to VCs on Conducting the Pending Examinations of Various Varsities

To review the pending exams and online education preparations, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Anil Baijal on Monday had an online meeting with the Vice Chancellors. He asked the Vice Chancellors to ensure continuity of educational activities keeping in mind the safety of students, faculty, and other staff. This information is given in a statement issued by the office of the Deputy Governor.

 
He also took social media to share about the online meeting “Held VC meeting with Vice Chancellors of Universities & Director, IIITD to review preparedness for online learning, pending examinations, internships, placements & admissions for the forthcoming sessions in the present challenging times.”
 


The Vice-Chancellors have been asked to prepare plans for the next academic year for the students. Vice-Chancellors of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi Technological University, Netaji Subhash University of Technology, and Ambedkar University participated in this conversation with the Deputy Governor. The Lieutenant Governor also asked all the Vice Chancellors to use technology in admissions and examinations.
 
Considering virtual classroom, Lt. Governor Anil Baijal said that every institution should develop a virtual classroom and video conferencing facility. All teaching staff should be trained in the use of technology. He instructed the Vice Chancellors to complete the syllabus from time to time, conduct examinations, and declare results.
