pilot dream - PC : Thrillist
“Dreams start to become reality when we start working on them.”

Yes... it is always possible to achieve if you overcome the hurdles and take it like a challenge. Following this mantra, a village girl achieved her dream of flying high in the sky by facing all odds of life.

Bhagyalaxmi, a resident of Kala Pipal village, saw a plane flying above her and started dreaming of becoming a pilot 11 years ago. Her farmer father helped her to turn her dreams into reality. Her teacher also helped her throughout her journey. Today, she has achieved her dream and has joined Indigo Airline as a pilot.

Journey of dream

Her journey started in 2007 when she saw a plane for the first time and inquired her father about it how is it flying, who flies it?

Without noticing her expression and motive, her father replied - pilot flies a plane.
Next day, she again asked her teacher how she can become a pilot. Responding to the class seven student’s question, the teacher said: “In a bid to become a pilot, you need to pass the class X exam and focus on science and maths.”
Then there was no looking back, she started working hard day and night to convert her dream into reality.

Keeping the goal in her mind, she passed class X exam and expressed her ambition of becoming a pilot to her father. He took science at the plus II level and carried on with her dream of becoming pilot.

Journey of reality
She has become a pilot. She is working with Indigo Airlines and touching the same sky she dreamt of.

After becoming a pilot, she gave her first salary to her teacher and ensured him that now she would be a helping hand for the girls’ education in her village.
She also thanked her father and stated that it was not only her hard work but also her dads, who did not stop her from doing anything and helped her to achieve every dream she saw.

Now she dreams of flying a plane with her teacher travelling in it.
Bhagyalaxmi has proved herself by achieving her goal. Her story not only encourages us but also help us to believe in our dreams and that if we believe in our dreams it becomes easy to convert them into reality. So dream, believe and work.
