Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is likely to declare NDA result 2018 next month, October. 

While the National Defence Academy (NDA)  (2) entrance was held on September 9, the exam consisted of 120 questions of mathematics and 150 questions of general ability. 

In a bid to join NDA a candidate must appear in the entrance exam conducted by the UPSC, held twice a year.

The NDA is located at Khadakwasla near Pune, Maharashtra. It is the first tri-service academy in the world.

About NDA Exam
NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC. Recruitment of candidates to Army, Navy and Air force wings of the NDA is through an entrance exam held twice a year, generally in the month of April and September.

The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Their admission at all the
stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.
Mere issue of Admission Certificate to the candidate will not imply that his candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission.
Verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents is taken up only after the candidate has qualified for interview/Personality Test.

Candidates are required to apply online by using the website upsconline.nic.in.
 (i) A candidate is required to specify clearly in the Online Application Form the Services for which he wishes to be considered in the order of his preference. He is also advised to indicate as many preferences as he wishes to opt so that having regard to his rank in the order of merit due
consideration can be given to his preferences when making appointments.

 (ii) Candidates should note that they will be considered for appointment to those services only for which they express their preferences and for no other service(s). No request for addition/alteration in the preferences already indicated by a candidate in his application will be entertained by the Commission.

 (iii) Admission to the above courses will be made on the results of the written examination to be conducted by the Commission followed by intelligence and personality test by the Services Selection Board of candidates who qualify in the written examination.

Applicants should note that there will be a ceiling on the number of candidates allotted to each of the centres except Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur. Allotment of Centres will be on the first-apply-first-allot basis and once the capacity of a particular centre is attained, the same will be frozen.
