The birth anniversary of the country's first Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru is today ie 14th November.

Jawaharlal Nehru was born on 14 November 1889 in Allahabad.

Because of their love and affection for children, every year 14th November is celebrated as Children's Day.

People used to call Nehru ji with love as Chacha Nehru or Chachaji.

By the age of 16, majorly, Jawaharlal Nehru's education took place at his house, during this period he got an education in English, Hindi and Sanskrit languages.

But there was a special emphasis on English studies. After this, Nehru Ji went to Britain in 1905 and studied further.

He spent three years there to get a degree in natural science in Cambridge.

After this, Nehru Ji studied Barrister in the next two years.
