GATE 2022 Answer Key Release Date Declared, Steps to Download Here

GATE 2022 Answer Key: IIT Kharagpur, the examination conducting body for GATE Exam 2022, has announced the dates on which the GATE 2022 Answer Key would be released. The institute will release the exam answer key on its official website: gate.iitkgp.ac.in. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur will release the Answer Key of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 on February 21, 2022, while the candidates' response sheets will be out on February 15, 2022.
The result of GATE Exam 2022 will be announced on March 17 and scorecards will be made available for download on March 21, on the official website of IIT Kharagpur. It is noteworthy that the GATE Exam 2022 for some branches was held on February 5 and 6, while for other branches, it will be held on February 12 and 13.

Candidates are required to check the application portal for their response sheets.

GATE Exam 2022: Marking scheme

The GATE Exam 2022 consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs) and Numerical Answer Type Questions (NATs). As per the marking scheme decided for GATE Exam 2022, for every wrong response in the 1 mark MCQ section, ⅓ mark will be deducted, while in the 2-mark MCQ section, ⅔ mark will be deducted for the same.

GATE Exam 2022 Answer Key: Steps to check

Candidates can follow the simple steps mentioned herewith to view and download the answer key for the exam.

1. Visit the official website of the examination conducting body for GATE 2022, i.e. IIT Kharagpur, at gate.iitkgp.ac.in.
2. Click on the login link located on the home page. You will be redirected to a new login page, where you must enter your login credentials (Enrollment ID/Email address and Password).
3. Click on 'Submit' to login. Then the GATE 2022 Answer Key will be displayed on the screen.
4. View and download the Answer Key.
5. Take a printout of the same, if the need may be.

In addition to this, the candidates will also be provided liberty to raise objections against the released answer key, whose window will open from February 22 until February 24, 2022. After reviewing the objections raised by the candidates at length, IIT Kharagpur will release the GATE 2022 Final Answer Keys.
